- Apr. 6, 2025 – Welcome to Sicily!! – Fly into Catania for your transfer to your hotel. Evening is free and dinner on your own. Overnight at Hotel Caesar Palace Hotel 4* or similar in Giardini Naxos. This evening join the group for a 3 course welcome dinner at the hotel and 1 glass wine pp.
- Apr. 7, 2025 – Edna & Taormina – After breakfast we are off for an excursion onto Mt. Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano. You will walk to the Silvestri craters and the lava streams of 1983 and 2001 at a height of ca. 1,900 m. (The continued journey to an altitude of ca. 3,000 m with all terrain vehicles depends on the weather and costs extra.) In the afternoon you will visit Taormina, which is surrounded by an overwhelming setting of rocks, gardens and sea. Taormina’s most famous structure is the Greek-Roman theatre, from which one has a spectacular view of the sea and Mt. Etna. Dinner on your own this evening.
- Apr. 8, 2025 – Siracusa, Ortigia and Noto – After breakfast, travel to Syracuse, one of the most important cities of ancient Greece. Wander through the narrow, winding streets of the Ortigia Peninsula, the historical centre of Syracuse. Guided tour of the archaeological excavation site with its beautiful Greek amphitheatre and the ‘Ear of Dionysius’. Stop at a local producer to taste the unforgettable cannolo siciliano, with narration of the “Cannolo-therapy” philosophy by the inventors themselves. Guided tour of baroque and warm Noto, an architectural gem in the south-east of the island exquisite taste of their prized wines alongside the tour. Dinner on your own this evening.
- Apr. 9, 2025 – Transfer to Agrigento and stop Piazza Armerina – After breakfast, check out of your hotel and we are off to se Sicily’s Villa del Casale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, opened its doors to the public once more in July 2012. After six years of restoration work, it is now possible to wander among the villa’s mosaics again. During the restoration, 120 million individual tiles were painstakingly cleaned by about 50 conservators from all across Europe.
This Roman villa, one of Sicily’s most precious sites dating back to antiquity, was the residence of a wealthy merchant between the 3rd and 4th century AD, who brought back a group of artists specialised in the art of mosaic making after his last trip to Africa. New excavations show evidence that there was not just one villa, but rather a densely populated settlement with a spacious thermal complex. Dinner on your own this evening. - Apr. 10, 2025 – Transfer to Palermo and food walking tour – After the breakfast, check out of the hotel and we drive to Palermo, the vibrant capital of Sicily, is a city steeped in history, culture, and contrasts. Located on the northwest coast of the island, Palermo is a melting pot of diverse influences, reflecting the various civilizations that have ruled over it throughout the centuries, including the Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs, Normans, and Spaniards.
Palermo is a food lover’s paradise, especially renowned for its street food scene. The city’s culinary offerings are a mix of local traditions and the influences of the various cultures that have left their mark on Sicily. Must-try street foods include arancine (fried rice balls), panelle (chickpea fritters), and sfincione (a type of Sicilian pizza). The city is also known for its seafood, pasta dishes, and traditional sweets like cannoli and cassata. Dinner on your own. Dinner on your own this evening. - Apr. 11, 2025 – Cefalù and Monreale – Cefalù is a picturesque coastal town located on the northern coast of Sicily, about 70 kilometers east of Palermo. Nestled between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the towering La Rocca, a massive limestone hill, Cefalù is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, rich history, and charming medieval atmosphere.
Continue to Monreale, a small but historically significant town located on a hill overlooking the Conca d’Oro valley, just a few kilometers southwest of Palermo, Sicily. Known primarily for its stunning Norman architecture, particularly the world-renowned Monreale Cathedral, the town offers a tranquil escape from the bustle of Palermo while providing a deep dive into Sicily’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. This evening enjoy a 3 course dinner with a sea view in Cefalù, drinks extra - Apr. 12, 2025 – Erice and Marsala – Today you will visit Erice, located at an altitude of 750 m and surrounded by a mighty, medieval wall. The town is surrounded by many legends and through its panoramic location allows fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. Here you will stroll through the narrow streets of the picturesque historic district with its numerous historic buildings, small squares and landscaped inner courtyards. Don’t miss out on a traditional almond pastry from the old bakery. The tour continues to Marsala where you will taste the traditional Marsala wine. This evening join the group for a 3 course farewell dinner at the hotel and 1 glass wine pp.
- Apr. 13, 2025 – Depart Palermo – Breakfast at the hotel then you will need to depart the hotel by 8am heading home with memories of Sicily and lots of new friends.

We have a 15 person minimum to make the tour go. If you sign up at the higher price and we get more people, you will end up paying what the final price for the tour ends up. For example, you sign up when we only have 15 people signed up, the cost is the higher price shown. For example if we end up with 30 or more going the price drops and that price based on how many are booked would be the final price you would pay.
Yes you can bring friends with you and parents and in-laws of employees can book into this also and go at the same rate as you do as the interliner. We want to fill the group to 30 to get the rate down. If we get an overwhelming response we will go to our operator and see about adding a 2nd or 3rd date or departure. Otherwise once we hit 34 we will have a waitlist in case of cancellations.

Final Payment is due on Jan. 10, 2025.
Full Penalty if cancelled on or after Jan. 11, 2025.

If we are unable to operate the tour due to Covid restrictions. then everyone booked will get a full refund to their credit card they paid with.
