This 8 night tour starts on Nov. 3, 2024 with your arrival in Bangkok. Includes a dinner cruise at night on the Chao Phraya River as you pass the Kings Palace all lit up at night. Once we arrive in Phuket you will spend a day at an Elephant Sanctuary working with the elephants, preparing their meals, helping feed and wash them and much more. Then it’s time to relax in Phuket on the beach. We have a couple of cooking classes in the tour and plenty of time for sightseeing and shopping.

Rest of day at leisure with an evening Dinner Cruise for Wonderful Pearl
Embark on a romantic cruise along the Chao Phraya River, and experience exotic Bangkok by night. On board, a lavish Thai and international buffet dinner is served. You can choose to dine inside and listen to live entertainment or enjoy your meal outside and take in the sights along the “River of Kings”.
Depart from River City (Pier No. 1) at 19:30 hours on Grand Pearl. The 3-level vessel can accommodate up to 300 persons. Cruise along the Chao Phraya River amid the romantic atmosphere and experience exotic Bangkok by night. The interior is nicely decorated and the boat is well-equipped with modern facilities. There are separate restrooms for male and female guests. The seating inside is quite spacious compared to other dinner cruise companies. Dine in cool air-conditioned room with live entertainment while enjoying a nice selection of international buffet on board. There is enough seating set up outside for those who like to dine al-fresco. Folding chairs and tables are installed along the passage around the boat so passengers won’t have any trouble finding a place to enjoy their meal. The crew is friendly and attentive. Along the route are interesting places such as the Grand Palace, the Temple of Dawn, and several famous bridges including the newly built Rama VIII bridge, designed by the present King of Thailand. After the meal, guests may then move to the spacious upper deck to relax under the moonlight or admire Bangkok’s stunning night time sights. The boat returns to the River City shopping complex pier at about 21:30 hours.

After lunch at the cooking class, return to the hotel and explore Bangkok on your own. Dinner on your own this evening.
- Nov. 5, 2024 – Bangkok – Mae Klong Railway Market and Damnoen Saduak – Breakfast at hotel. Then we leave at 7am to explore two famous sites in a different way to other travel companies, offering a unique excursion.
Early morning, depart from Bangkok and visit the famous Mae Klong Railway Market. When the train comes through, the goods from the market are moved from the rails in lightning speed. After the train has sped by, everything is moved back within a few seconds. Next visit is Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the famous market which you always see in most Bangkok postcards). The highlight is the boarding by longtail boat and ride along the narrow side canals out into the Mae Klong River, passing traditional style houses on both banks and witnessing local life. Then we return to Bangkok. In the afternoon we visit Thonburi Klong and Grand Palace Explorer on the west bank of the Chao Praya River lays a part of town called Thonburi. Situated on the right side of the river, progress has arrived here with little impact. Get a little feeling for life in Bangkok at the beginning of the 20th century, when it was also called “Venice of the East” Additional visit the most highlights of Thailand, Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha.
Just start the experience from the Thatien pier, taking the longtail boat and your boat will be passing along the canals gives you a firsthand impression of the scenic life along Bangkok’s waterways. En route we stop at and visit Bangkok’s best known landmark, the enchanting Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). Afterwards cross the Chao Praya River with the public ferry and walk to the gates of the serene temple complex of Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) and the Royal Palace. The Emerald Buddha is the National sanctuary of the country, where the devotion is closely associated with the welfare of the Royal family and nation. The jade statue has a set of three robes and three crowns according to the seasons.
Note: The entire Grand Palace is closed during special royal ceremonies and during visiting heads of state, while other buildings (such as the Throne Hall and Coronation Hall) are always closed on during special ceremonies and on Buddhist Holidays. • A strict dress code applies. The Grand Palace, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is Thailand’s most sacred site. Visitors (both of Thai and Foreigners) must be properly dressed before being allowed entry to the temple. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops). No sandals or flip-flops. Women must be similarly modestly dressed. No see-through clothes, bare shoulders, etc. If you show up at the front gate improperly dressed, there is a booth near the entrance that can provide clothes to cover you up properly (expenses & deposit is required).
Return to hotel and dinner on your own this evening. - Nov. 6, 2024 – Bangkok to Phuket – Breakfast at hotel. Private transfer from Pullman Bangkok Hotel G to Bangkok Airport with English Speaking guide. Arrive Phuket and transfer to hotel in Phuket with English Speaking guide
Overnight hotel at Katathani Beach Resort or Pullman Phuket Arcadia Nathon - Nov. 7, 2024 – Day at the Elephant Camp – Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Phuket Elephant Sanctuary “One Day Volunteer Program”. This is a unique opportunity to spend a meaningful and exciting day volunteering at the first ethical elephant sanctuary in Phuket. You’ll be assisting us with tasks and immersing yourself in the daily life at our sanctuary. We do not require any previous volunteer experience as long as you are a passionate animal lover with a keen interest in wildlife. If you’re physically fit, enthusiastic and able to work as part of the team in the hot Thai humid climate whether rain or sun – volunteer!
Note: the volunteer program is suitable for adults aged 18 or older with good health and a passion for working hard for the elephants. Return to the hotel that evening and dinner on your own. - Nov. 8, 2024 – Phuket – Breakfast at hotel. Day to relax at our 4 star beach hotel. Enjoy the beach, enjoy the spa and more. Lunch and Dinner on your own. For those who want more time at the Elephant Sanctuary we may be able to get you in for another day of volunteer work once we are there. We did not want to add additional days due to the weather and work involved. Not sure how tired everyone will be after the one day. We may also be able to add it for two days but we wanted to give you time to relax and enjoy the beaches of Phuket and everything our hotel has to offer. Prices for the additional day will be determined once we are there and you can pay them directly but should be around $80pp.
- Nov. 9, 2024 – Phuket – Breakfast at hotel. Another day to relax at our 4 star beach hotel. Enjoy the beach, enjoy the spa and more. Go into town if you wish. Lunch and Dinner on your own.
- Nov. 10, 2024 – Phuket & Cooking Class – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then we are off for a culinary adventure. Cooking Class at Blue Elephant in Phuket and lunch after cooking.

- Nov. 11, 2024 – Return Home – Breakfast at the hotel. Then check out by Noon for private transfer from the hotel to the Phuket Airport.

We have a 10 person minimum to make the tour go. If you sign up at the higher price and we get more people, you will end up paying what the final price for the tour ends up. For example, you sign up when we only have 20 people signed up, the cost is the higher price shown. But if we end up with over 35 or more going the price drops and that price based on how many are booked would be the final price you would pay.
Yes you can bring friends with you and parents and in-laws of employees can book into this also and go at the same rate as you do as the NATCA member. We want to fill the group to 40 to get the rate down. If we get an overwhelming response we will go to our operator and see about adding a 2nd or 3rd date. Otherwise once we hit 25 we will have a waitlist in case of cancellations.
Deposit is $500pp at the time of booking.
Final Payment is due on Aug. 20, 2024.
No penalty if you cancel prior to or on Aug. 20, 2024.
